DIrector LaToya Hill
LaToya Hill, M.A.T.
Director

LaToya Hill is a wife, a mother of three, master teacher, and administrator. This is her 10th year as a part of the Goodwill Excel Center Family and her 19th year in education. While at the Excel Center she has served as a math instructor, college and career specialist and lead teacher. LaToya is passionate about educating adult learners and empowering them to diligently strive for success in everything they set out to achieve. She loves to challenge students of varying ages to love math…or at least not hate it as much!

LaToya holds a BS in computer science from Tennessee State University and a Masters in Teaching from Marian University. Originally from Indianapolis, IN, she recently relocated to the east coast to join the Goodwill Excel Center team as a math instructor in 2019 and currently serves as Director for their new site located in southwest DC.

When not at the Excel Center, LaToya enjoys traveling, playing tennis, watching sports, family game nights and leading alongside of her husband at their church.

Her motto is “I strive to create an environment where students and staff want to be and not where they have to be.“
